Did you make a reel for a student organization’s social media this school year (2023-24)? If so, you may be eligible to win up to HK $1,000 with your work!
Babel Film Workshop is excited to launch its first Best Reel Award to celebrate student creativity in the Instagram reel format. Current students in Hong Kong aged 14-18 are eligible to submit reels associated with a student organization for consideration.
Finalists will be judged based on their reel’s creativity and effectiveness at promoting their organization, and considered for the Best Reel Award and Audience Choice Award.

Best Reel Award - HK $500
Audience Choice Award - HK $500
Winners are determined by Babel Film Workshop and by public voting. Prize money is donated to the student organization that the reel was made for, or a charity of the winner’s choice.
Eligibility
All types of reels between 10-90 seconds long are accepted
Promotes a student organization associated with your school
1 reel submission per organization
Must be made by current students aged 14-18 based in Hong Kong
Published on Instagram between Aug 2023 to May 2024
No inappropriate content (ie. profanity, sexual content, violence, illegal activities, etc.)
Submission Deadline: May 10, 2024
