Casting: Psychological Thriller Short Film

Project Description: The film is a psychological thriller that follows a group of 6 friends. As the film progresses, the friends find themselves stuck in a classroom. While the friends investigate the phenomenon, multiple waves of flickering lights take place. After each wave, a friend dies, leaving the rest to escape.

Roles:

• Character 1 (16-18, male, any ethnicity): a leader who tries his best to manage the distressing circumstances with his peers; has a well-balanced personality, both emotionally intelligent and logically intelligent; is able to regulate his own stress and appears charismatic and confident, demanding respect snd inspiring his peers to work towards a collective goal

• Character 2 (16-18, male, any ethnicity): highly logical and analytical, and is portrayed as the investigator or thinker in the group; ⁠detached and insensitive to his friends emotions when making analyses or conclusions; has a high ego and is very arrogant, making him sensitive to anger when he is misunderstood and is told he’s wrong

• Character 3 (16-18, male, any ethnicity): a pessimist yet realistic character who finds it easy to accept the circumstances the group is placed upon; he is not sad nor happy about the situation, but content and easily comes to terms with it; he is composed and calm even under high stress does not react impulsively

• Character 4 (16-18, male, any ethnicity): a class clown who is never serious and always wants to make jokes; he isn’t afraid of his jokes not being funny and just finds enjoyment in being annoying or causing a reaction; he acts quite immaturely and does not care that he is bothering others

• Character 5 (16-18, female, any ethnicity): an over thinker and does not handle stress well; throughout the film, she panics and appears dependent and reliant on the others for solutions as she is too afraid to think logically; she would tend to jump
  to conclusions and not logically process information as she is flooded with emotional distress

• Character 6 (16-18, female, any ethnicity):
  an empathetic character who cares deeply about her friends; ⁠very attentive and observant to her friends emotions and mood; emotionally sensitive and sentimental; making her introspective and easy to talk to
