Want to take part in a unique filmmaking challenge? Students in Hong Kong may not realize that our city’s landscape has inspired filmmakers from around the world, featuring often in Hollywood blockbusters like Dr. Strange, Godzilla vs. Kong, and The Dark Knight. In this camp, students will:

• Write, film, shoot, act in, and edit an original short film on location in Hong Kong

• Learn how to execute a short film idea with limited time and resources

• Understand how Hong Kong has inspired Hollywood films

• Feel creatively fulfilled and more capable of creating short films

This camp is also offered in partnership with BIMM University—U.K.’s 2nd largest university for creative industries. Students will get the opportunity to share their work with a senior lecturer at the university who has executive produced for Netflix and Sony, and receive professional feedback. Schedule

• Students will travel as a group with teacher supervision to filming locations on 2 of the days (exact locations determined by students on first class)
