Applications Open for 2021 Summer High School Media Interns

Hong Kong’s leading film education company, Babel Film Workshop, is now recruiting Media Interns (ages 16-18) for the summer!

Media Interns will work closely with our film teachers in fun and innovative filmmaking courses across Hong Kong for students aged 5-15. They will assist in class activities by engaging in various media-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Create behind-the-scenes videos of class activities

• Produce video content for marketing purposes

• Assist in technical support and setups of TV screens/projectors

• Engage with film students through film activities

Criteria:

• Current high school student aged 16-18

• Fluent English speaker

• Student of a film subject in school (preferred but not required)

• Proficient in filmmaking (ie. use of digital camera and editing software)

• Patient with younger students

Internship Period: 1-3 weeks between Jun-Aug 2021

Application Deadline: May 31, 2021 (Extension for HKA Students: Jun 18, 2021)

Meal & Travel Stipend: $80 HKD/day (when assigned to more than 1 class/day)
