Film Stylo 2022: Shortlist Announcement

Thanks to all the student filmmakers who submitted their films to this year’s Film Stylo! The theme for 2022 was “Silver Linings,” and a total of 21 submissions have been shortlisted.

Film Stylo is Babel Film Workshop’s annual competition that promotes personal expression and emotional wellness in teens through filmmaking. Films were judged and shortlisted based on the following criteria:

  • Personal voice

  • Treatment of theme

  • Creative and technical execution

The screening will take place at Babel Film Workshop on 29 October 2022 between 4:00-6:00pm. At the event, the Top 5 entries for this year will also be announced. Congratulations to all the shortlisted filmmakers!

There will be two screening sessions of all shortlisted films on 29 October 2022 (4:00pm-5:00pm and 5:00pm-6:00pm). All shortlisted filmmakers are invited to attend the screening event with one guest, and will be notified of their timeslot by email prior to the date.

Other guests are required to RSVP for either timeslot with the form below if they wish to attend.
