Casting & Crewing: Hong Kong Teen Mystery Short Film (“A Piece of Cake”)
Project Description: A professional student short film production from Babel Film Workshop’s Short Film Lab 2025 program about a teenage baker who investigates the party guests when the birthday girl gets an allergic reaction to her cake.
Cast Roles:
Jeremy (14-18, male, any ethnicity) - Lead actor. Observant and perfectionist baker. Speaks fluent English
Alina (14-18, female, any ethnicity) - Supporting actress. Moody and sarcastic, the outsider of the group. Speaks fluent English.
Clover (14-18, female, any ethnicity) - Supporting actress. Outgoing, the kind of friend who would plan a surprise party. Speaks fluent English.
Kate (14-18, female, any ethnicity) - Supporting actress. The birthday girl who is nice to everyone and is a ray of sunshine. Speaks fluent English.
Marc (14-18, male, any ethnicity) - Supporting actor. A helpful gym bro and a boxer. Speaks fluent English.
Sam (14-18, male, any ethnicity) - Supporting actor. Caring boyfriend with a thin physique. Speaks fluent English.
Crew Roles:
