This Saturday (19 Sept 2020), twenty selected entries from our global filmmaking initiative, Film Stylo, will be screened as part of the Movie11 program at the K11 Art Mall in Hong Kong.

The selected films come from students who were in Hong Kong, United States, United Kingdom, and India at various stages of school closures amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Film Stylo was launched amid the coronavirus pandemic by Babel Film Workshop founder Jeremy Hung, and aims to promote emotional wellness and foster intercultural empathy in students through filmmaking.

The initiative was a fellowship project supported by the Yale-China Association and the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office in New York.

Join us at the K11 Art Mall between 1-2pm or 2-3pm for the outdoor, socially distanced exhibition of the films. Hong Kong-based student filmmakers will be attendance.

To sign up for the screening, register on K11’s website.

Featured filmmakers include: Vidhi Asarpota, Yareli Calderon Romero, Kushaj Dwivedi, Gianie Figueroa, Issy Foote, Harvey Hopkins, Ben Howell, Elena Huber, Ronnie Hui, Sylvia Jessen-Cohn, Aarin Jhaveri, Thomas Mowbray, Aime Mulungula, Tuphen Outsola, Arabella Sharkey, Lilly Stordy, Harini Thiyagarajan, Chloe Wan, Kaatje Welsh, and Donovan Wong.
