Want your child to make entertaining films? Film is one of the world’s most popular forms of entertainment, but children rarely know how to make them, which means they miss out on an important form of creativity. In this activity, students will be introduced to the exciting world of filmmaking by creating a mini film using different camera techniques. This term, they will:

• Learn creative ways of using camera shots to tell a story

• Storyboard, film, act in and edit a mini film

• Feel inspired to tell stories using technology

• Work with teachers who have professional filmmaking experience

No prior experience or specialized equipment are required. Parents/guardians are invited to a Showcase on the last class. Limited to 6 students only, so enroll now to not miss out on the fun of filmmaking!

Laptop/tablet with editing app (ex. iMovie or Premiere Rush)
