Want to make films that tell stories? Film is the most powerful storytelling medium in the world, but students rarely know how to make them, which means they miss out on essential storytelling skills. In this activity, students will discover the creative possibilities of short film production by making a short film using different cinematography techniques. This term, they will:
Learn creative ways to film shots that tell a story effectively
Write, storyboard, direct, film, act in and edit a short film
Feel confident in creating a film project from start to finish
Work with teachers who have professional filmmaking experience
New students are welcome, and no prior experience or specialized equipment are required. Parents/guardians are invited to a Premiere on the last class. Limited to 6 students only, so enroll now to not miss out on the fun of short film production!
