Top 5 Award Winners Announced for Film Stylo: The Human Touch
This past Saturday, 50 student filmmakers, guests and teachers attended the screening event for Film Stylo: The Human Touch, an annual filmmaking and mental wellness initiative organized by Babel Film Workshop.
The recipients of the Top 5 Award, all from King George V School, were also announced: Napatr Kaweepati, Jayne Lau, Rachell Lee, Jazlyn Wong and Nina Zhang.
These students’ films were selected for their exceptional demonstration of personal voice; treatment of theme; and creative and technical execution, and will be published in our online Screening Room in the coming weeks.
All shortlisted films were created based on this year’s theme, The Human Touch, and explored themes including students’ relationship with technology in the age of AI, human connection, as well as the lingering impact of Covid-19.
We were delighted to celebrate the diversity in student film entries with students’ guests, including friends, family and teachers, and look forward to seeing further films created for Film Stylo!
